While our counselors work primarily from home, they also engage with outpatient practices and consult regularly with an interprofessional team. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments and diagnostics to identify client needs and create effective, personalized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based methodologies.

• Implement therapeutic interventions grounded in recognized techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate positive change and healing.

• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring the protection of our client’s privacy and data integrity.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team, which includes psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals, participating in monthly case consultations and peer review sessions to enhance clinical practice.

• Educate clients and their families on mental health disorders, treatment options, and available community resources, empowering them through knowledge and support.

• Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in mental health to provide clients with the most effective care possible.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field such as Social Work, Psychology, or Mental Health Counseling.

• A current and valid license to practice in California as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
