Key Responsibilities\n

• Maintain thorough and timely documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes using our electronic health record system.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments that respect the cultural backgrounds and personal experiences of each client.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group psychotherapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based techniques like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on client assessments, and regularly update these as clients progress.
\n
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and case managers, to create an integrated treatment approach that addresses all aspects of client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses on supporting a diverse client population in Salinas, which includes individuals from various cultural backgrounds, adolescents facing behavioral issues, families dealing with trauma, and elderly clients experiencing mental health challenges. Our counselors are trained to manage a broad spectrum of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, relationship conflicts, and more. By tailoring our therapeutic approaches to fit the unique needs of each client, we strive to enhance their quality of life and mental well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field.

• Active state licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, LCSW, or equivalent credential.

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health setting.

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse populations and address a range of mental health diagnoses.
