Work Environment\n

This position offers a primarily remote work setting, allowing for flexibility in balancing professional responsibilities with personal life. However, the outpatient office will serve as the primary facility where team collaboration occurs. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts required based on patients’ needs. Our office is equipped with modern technology and resources to support effective telehealth services and in-person consultations.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate the needs and challenges faced by children and adolescents.

• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to the developmental stages and unique family dynamics of each patient.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role is centered around a diverse population of children and adolescents facing various mental health challenges. You will work with individuals diagnosed with anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, ADHD, and other behavioral issues. The focus will be on not only addressing mental health symptoms but also enhancing the overall resilience and coping strategies of young individuals. By incorporating family dynamics into treatment, you will play a critical role in developing supportive networks for your clients.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist in the state of New York.

• A strong understanding of child and adolescent mental health disorders, therapeutic modalities, and treatment guidelines.
\n
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a heartfelt, child-centered approach to therapy.

• Strong ability to establish rapport and build trust with children, adolescents, and their families.
\n
• Proficiency in using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and familiarity with applying technology in mental health practice.

• A demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• Minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health setting, preferably focused on child and adolescent populations.

• Experience providing both individual and family therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The offered salary range for this position is between $100,000 and $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
