Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth assessments to identify clients’ mental health concerns, develop appropriate clinical diagnoses, and design personalized treatment plans.

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic models tailored to clients’ unique circumstances and goals.

• Implement crisis intervention strategies to assist clients experiencing acute mental health situations, promoting a safe and supportive environment during emergencies.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, including treatment documentation, progress notes, and assessment results, complying with ethical and legal standards.

• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams comprised of psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care and support to clients.

• Educate clients and their families regarding mental health issues, potential treatment options, and available community resources, advocating for their rights and needs.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through training sessions, workshops, and continued education to remain up-to-date with best practices in mental health therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our counseling center serves a diverse client population ranging from children and adolescents to adults and families. We aim to address various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, trauma recovery, and more. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your role will be integral in helping clients navigate life's difficulties and fostering their capacity for healing and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• Current licensure as a Mental Health Therapist with credentials such as LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a closely related field.

• Demonstrated clinical assessment and diagnostic skills with a minimum of two years of relevant experience.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, fostering strong therapeutic alliances with clients.

• Proficiency in working independently while also contributing to a collaborative team environment.

• Strong commitment to upholding the highest ethical and professional standards in practice.

Preferred Experience\n

• While a minimum of two years of experience is required, candidates with previous experience in a clinical setting or community health environment will be given preference.

Compensation and Benefits\n
