Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify the unique needs of each child or adolescent you encounter.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that factor in developmental stages and familial relationships.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities to address a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Collaborate closely with child psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams, fostering communication to ensure comprehensive patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during urgent mental health situations affecting young patients.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health issues, treatment possibilities, and local resources available.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation fully compliant with healthcare regulations.

• Participate in regular team meetings and case discussions to enhance therapeutic strategies and shared experiences.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with children and adolescents facing a diverse range of mental health issues. Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LCSW-R, LMFT, or LMHC in New York State.

• Demonstrated understanding of child and adolescent mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment approaches.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, along with a strong desire to positively impact the lives of children and their families.

• Proficient in managing electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant software.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health counseling setting, preferably working with children and adolescents.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This role offers a competitive annual salary in the range of $100,000 to $120,000, reflective of experience and qualifications. In addition to a robust compensation package, we offer a sign-on bonus to new team members.
