Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate the unique needs of children and adolescents.

• Implement therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and play therapy techniques, to address various mental health conditions effectively.

• Collaborate closely with our experienced child psychiatrists and other multidisciplinary team members to ensure a unified approach to patient care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and ongoing support during mental health emergencies affecting children and adolescents.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health challenges, treatment pathways, and relevant community resources.

• Maintain detailed and confidential electronic health records (EHR) in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Actively participant in ongoing professional development and stay abreast of advancements within the field of child and adolescent psychiatry.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily focus on children and adolescents, offering mental health counseling to those struggling with conditions such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and various behavioral disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Holding a current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCSW-R, LMHC, or LMFT in New York State is required.

• Preferred candidates will have a minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in the mental health field.

Compensation and Benefits\n
