Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver family therapy sessions to assist parents and caregivers in cultivating a nurturing and supportive environment conducive to the mental health of their children.

• Collaborate closely with child psychiatrists and other professionals to provide comprehensive, coordinated care that meets each child's unique needs.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support for children and adolescents experiencing mental health emergencies, ensuring their safety and stabilization.

• Educate patients and families on mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources that may aid in their recovery journey.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with all legal and ethical standards, ensuring quality and consistency in care delivery.

Qualifications\n

• Possession of a current and valid license as an LCSW, LPC, LCPC, LMHC, or LMFT in California is required. Please note that we cannot accept applicants with an associates license, as they are not billable through Medicare.

• A solid understanding of child and adolescent mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and therapeutic techniques.

• Experience in delivering individual and family therapy specifically for young patients.
\n
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, exhibiting a compassionate and child-centered approach.

• A proven ability to build rapport and foster trust with children, adolescents, and their families.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and various computer applications is essential.

• A master’s degree in Counseling, Clinical Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related fields is necessary for this position.
