Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide crisis intervention and support in mental health emergencies involving children and adolescents, ensuring safety and immediate care.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, outlining treatment options and available community resources to empower them in their journey towards recovery.

• Maintain meticulous documentation that adheres to legal and ethical standards, ensuring the highest level of confidentiality and compliance.

• Actively participate in team meetings and case consultations, contributing to comprehensive care planning and professional development.

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate the unique needs of each child or adolescent, allowing for informed and tailored treatment planning.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that consider developmental stages, cultural backgrounds, and family dynamics.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions to address a wide range of mental health concerns, including play therapy and cognitive-behavioral approaches.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in counseling, clinical psychology, social work, or equivalent field is required.

• Current licensure as LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC in California is mandatory for this position; associates licenses are not accepted due to billing limitations.

• Strong knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders, as well as evidence-based treatment modalities and therapeutic approaches.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a child-centered focus.
\n
• Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) and various computer applications.

• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n
