In your role, you will engage in a fully remote work setting, allowing you to connect with clients through virtual platforms while benefiting from a supportive network of colleagues. The work schedule is primarily Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts to accommodate patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth mental health assessments for children and adolescents, gathering insights from various sources, including family histories, school reports, and individual observations.

• Develop comprehensive and individualized treatment plans that take into account the unique psychological, developmental, and socio-emotional needs of each client.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and play therapy, to effectively address issues like anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions which help parents and caregivers understand and support their children’s mental health challenges, fostering a nurturing home environment.

• Collaborate with child psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care that maximizes positive outcomes and coordinates treatment efforts.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support for young clients experiencing acute mental health challenges, offering prompt, professional care.

• Educate families about mental health concerns, empowering them to understand treatment options and available community resources.

• Maintain meticulous, confidential documentation consistent with legal and ethical standards while utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems to track patient progress.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on children and adolescents facing various mental health challenges. This includes a range of conditions from mild anxiety to more severe behavioral issues, such as oppositional defiance disorder. You will work directly with individuals aged 6 to 18 years, fostering a trusting relationship that encourages openness and honesty during therapeutic sessions. This role is pivotal in creating effective treatment pathways that not only address immediate concerns but also contribute to long-term mental health resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist in California.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience, ideally in child and adolescent mental health.

• Profound knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders, with proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Demonstrated experience delivering therapeutic interventions to children and their families.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, characterized by empathy, patience, and the ability to build rapport with young clients.

• Strong competency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and related technologies to ensure seamless administrative processes.

Compensation and Benefits\n
