Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for children and adolescents, utilizing standardized tools and methodologies to assess issues and formulate appropriate interventions.

• Collaborate with families to create and implement tailored treatment plans that address developmental stages, family dynamics, and individual patient needs.

• Employ evidence-based therapeutic techniques to facilitate therapeutic interventions, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), play therapy, and other modalities suitable for young clients.

• Engage in family therapy sessions that support parents and caregivers in establishing healthy family dynamics and responding to their children’s emotional needs.

• Work collaboratively with child psychiatrists and other multidisciplinary team members to coordinate comprehensive and holistic care for each patient.

• Serve as a critical resource during crisis situations, offering timely support and intervention for patients experiencing acute mental health challenges.

• Provide education to patients and families about mental health conditions, available treatments, and community resources that can further support their journey.
\n
• Maintain detailed and confidential documentation in alignment with legal, ethical, and organizational standards, ensuring seamless communication within the care team.

• Actively participate in regular team meetings, case discussions, and professional development training to uphold best practices in child and adolescent mental health care.

• Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in child and adolescent psychiatry to enhance therapeutic approaches and interventions.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid mental health professional license—such as LMFT, LPCC, LCSW, or Psychologist—recognized in the state of California.
\n
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience providing mental health services, ideally with a focus on children and adolescents.
\n
• Strong foundational knowledge of childhood and adolescent mental health disorders and familiarity with a range of evidence-based treatment methods and therapeutic approaches.

• Demonstrated ability to establish rapport and build trust with young clients and their families, employing effective and compassionate communication skills.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant computer applications, facilitating efficient documentation and communication.
\n
• Exemplary teamwork skills, enabling collaboration across various disciplines in a remote environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n
