Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to identify and address the unique needs of children and adolescents.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices, evaluating progress and adapting interventions as needed.

• Provide individual and family therapy sessions that focus on a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral concerns.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions aimed at fostering communication and understanding among family members to create a nurturing environment for growth and healing.

• Work closely with child psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care and effective treatment strategies.

• Respond to mental health crises, providing immediate support to young patients and their families during critical situations.

• Educate patients and their families regarding mental health conditions, treatment modalities, and available community resources.

• Maintain compliant documentation and records using electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to legal standards.

• Engage actively in team collaboration, participating in case reviews and sharing insights to improve care delivery and outcomes.

• Stay current with developments in child and adolescent psychiatry through ongoing education and participation in professional workshops.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with children and adolescents experiencing a variety of mental health disorders. This includes but is not limited to, anxiety disorders, mood disorders such as depression, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and various behavioral challenges. Your role is crucial in not only helping these young individuals but also in supporting their families, thereby promoting a nurturing atmosphere conducive to mental and emotional growth.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Must possess current and valid licensure as an LCMFT, LCSW, LCP, LCPC, or LSCSW in the state of Kansas.

• Demonstrated knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders, coupled with evidence-based treatment methodologies.

• Previous experience providing individual and family therapy to young clients is essential.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to engage effectively with children, adolescents, and their families.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and related computer applications is necessary.

• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team setting, fostering collaboration and holistic treatment approaches.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
