Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and comprehensive mental health assessments to identify the needs and challenges of children and adolescents, utilizing standardized assessment tools.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy and play therapy, to effectively address diverse mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions, equipping parents and caregivers with strategies to foster a supportive home environment that promotes emotional well-being and resilience.

• Collaborate closely with our child psychiatrists and a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive and coordinated care for our patients, ensuring that all aspects of their mental health are addressed.

• Respond to mental health emergencies by offering crisis intervention support that prioritizes the immediate safety and well-being of our young patients.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and vital community resources, empowering them to make informed decisions about their care.

• Maintain up-to-date and accurate electronic health records (EHR) to uphold compliance with legal and ethical standards, while ensuring the protection of patient confidentiality.

• Actively participate in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional training sessions to enhance clinical skills and stay abreast of the latest research in child and adolescent mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is to support children and adolescents aged 5 to 18 years who are experiencing a range of mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCSW-R, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience is preferred, with a strong foundation in child and adolescent mental health disorders.

• Demonstrated knowledge of various evidence-based treatment modalities and therapeutic approaches tailored for young individuals and their families.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate approach to building rapport with children, adolescents, and their families.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000.
