Work Environment\n

This role is designed to be performed remotely, primarily serving students in the Lindenhurst school district. While most of the work will occur virtually, occasional in-person meetings with educators and administrators may be required. As a remote position, you will utilize a range of digital platforms to conduct therapy sessions, ensuring accessibility and continuity of care for students.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and screenings for students, developing tailored treatment plans that address their specific needs.

• Provide individual counseling sessions and crisis interventions to students dealing with a variety of challenges, from academic stress to personal and familial issues.

• Facilitate therapeutic group sessions and workshops on topics such as coping skills, anxiety management, and peer relationships.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position will primarily focus on the adolescent population within the school. Qualifications\n

• Active New York State license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
