Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to develop individualized therapy strategies tailored to each client's needs.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to clients through individual therapy sessions, as well as group and family therapy settings.

• Utilize a variety of counseling methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short-term therapy to meet diverse client needs.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure a holistic approach to client care and treatment planning.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in compliance with ethical guidelines and state regulations.

• Engage in ongoing professional development activities by participating in workshops and training to stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in mental health care.

You will work with a diverse client population, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and substance use disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.

• An active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New York.

• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting, is mandatory.
