Key Responsibilities\n

• Conducting comprehensive initial assessments via telehealth to gather information on clients' mental, behavioral, and emotional health.

• Documenting detailed case histories that span from the initial consultation through to the conclusion of treatment, utilizing electronic health record systems such as AVATAR.
\n
• Developing tailored intervention and recovery plans that are personalized to meet the needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups.
\n
• Facilitating individual therapy sessions and group therapy meetings, adapting approaches based on client feedback and needs.
\n
• Monitoring and assessing client progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.
\n
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and nurses, to coordinate care and enhance client support.
\n
• Following up with clients who require admission to hospitals, maintaining communication with attending physicians to ensure continuance of care.

• Identifying potential barriers to recovery and strategizing preventive measures to help clients overcome challenges.

• Providing psychoeducation and support to family members and primary caregivers in understanding and managing mental health challenges.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New Jersey.

• Proof of having achieved passing scores on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Strong written and verbal communication skills that facilitate effective collaboration with clients and team members.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges between $80,000 and $100,000, commensurate with experience, including a signing bonus to welcome you to our team.
