Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health needs using validated tools and therapeutic frameworks to create detailed and personalized treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities to deliver therapy sessions to individuals, couples, families, and groups, adapting approaches as necessary to address each client's unique circumstances.

• Collaborate effectively with case managers, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure clients benefit from a cohesive treatment strategy and integrated support.

• Provide crisis intervention services for clients in acute distress, demonstrating your clinical expertise and empathetic approach to manage urgent situations effectively.

• Participate in and lead community outreach programs aimed at raising mental health awareness, reducing stigma, and promoting emotional wellness education.

As a Mental Health Counselor at Bellarine Counseling Center, you will work with clients experiencing conditions such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Your ability to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds will enhance their therapeutic experience and provide them with the acceptance and understanding they need to thrive.

Qualifications\n

• An active, independent license in Pennsylvania as one of the following: \n

  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
  \n
  • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
  \n
  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
  \n
  • Doctor of Psychology (PsyD)
  \n

• A master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Demonstrated capacity for developing rapport with clients and creating trust-based relationships through exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

• Exhibit cultural competence, enabling you to work effectively with clients from various ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds.

• Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail for accurate documentation and case management.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting providing mental health counseling.

• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and techniques for effective virtual therapy delivery.

• Experience in community outreach and preventive education initiatives related to mental health.

Compensation and Benefits\n
