Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and empathetic assessments to identify clients' mental health needs, creating individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based techniques and compassionate strategies.

• Provide therapeutic services to individuals, groups, and families utilizing modalities tailored to clients' unique situations, whether through teletherapy or in-person sessions when appropriate.

• Work closely with a team of healthcare professionals—including case managers and psychiatrists—to deliver coordinated and holistic care, actively participating in interdisciplinary team meetings.

• Implement crisis intervention strategies for clients in acute distress, applying psychological first aid principles while ensuring clients feel heard and supported during emergencies.

• Engage in community outreach efforts and educational workshops designed to promote mental health awareness and destigmatize mental health issues, particularly within underserved populations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As part of the hospice team, you will primarily work with patients experiencing terminal illnesses and their families. This uniquely challenging patient population requires sensitivity, cultural competence, and the ability to establish trust and rapport quickly. You will provide crucial psychological support during critical times, helping clients and their loved ones cope with grief, anxiety, and existential concerns.

Qualifications\n

• Possession of an active and unrestricted license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits\n
