Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct virtual client assessments using specialized teletherapy software to evaluate mental health needs and develop tailored treatment plans.

• Facilitate one-on-one therapy sessions with clients over video calls, employing evidence-based practices that have been adapted for an online format, ensuring effective engagement and care.

• Document each session thoroughly in our secure electronic health records (EHR) system, providing clear notes on client progress and treatment approaches to ensure continuity of care.

• Participate in regular team meetings via conference calls or video chats to review client cases, discuss therapeutic approaches, and refine treatment strategies alongside colleagues.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through training programs related to telehealth best practices, ensuring compliance with current regulations governing digital mental health care.

• Contribute ideas to enhance the effectiveness of mental health programs and services, adhering to established compliance requirements within telemedicine operations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse client population, providing mental health support to individuals facing a variety of challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Each client presents unique needs and experiences, and you will be responsible for tailoring your therapeutic approach to foster their personal growth and emotional healing.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field is required.

• Active licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Brilliant Minds Psychosocial Center offers a competitive salary range of $52,000 to $70,000 per year, commensurate with experience and hours worked. Benefits include healthcare coverage for full-time counselors, as well as insurance plans and the convenience of weekly direct deposits for your earnings.
