Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify individual patient needs and collaboratively develop personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.

• Utilize various therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, or dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to deliver effective individual, couple, and family therapy sessions.

• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups that address common mental health issues, promoting community building and shared experiences among clients.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure coordinated care and holistic approaches to treatment, allowing for comprehensive patient support.

• Provide crisis intervention services to support clients during mental health emergencies, ensuring their safety and well-being.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health diagnoses, treatment strategies, and available resources for ongoing support in the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California.

• Comprehensive understanding of mental health disorders, treatments, and clinical methodologies.
