Key Responsibilities\n

• Engage in regular collaboration with child psychiatrists and other multidisciplinary team members to ensure a coordinated approach to care.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during mental health emergencies, ensuring the safety and well-being of young clients.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment modalities, and available community resources.

• Maintain precise and secure documentation of patient interactions in adherence to organizational and industry standards.

• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and continuous professional development activities.

• Stay updated on current research, best practices, and advancements in child and adolescent mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The core focus of this role revolves around children and adolescents suffering from various mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCSW-R, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York.

• A minimum of two years of relevant post-licensure experience is preferred.

• Comprehensive knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and therapeutic approaches.

• Demonstrated experience in providing individual and family therapy tailored to younger populations.

• Excellent interpersonal skills coupled with a compassionate, patient-centered approach.

• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and adeptness in using telehealth platforms for remote therapy sessions.

Compensation and Benefits\n
