You will work remotely while also engaging with the outpatient office setting to deliver specialized care to young clients and their families.

Work Environment\n

This position offers a unique opportunity to work within a supportive outpatient setting, with the flexibility of a remote work arrangement. Standard work hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, though occasional evening shifts may be required based on the needs of our patients. You will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team, ensuring coordinated care and continuous professional support.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to determine the specific needs and developmental stage of children and adolescents.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that consider each client's unique circumstances, strengths, and family dynamics.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual and family therapy sessions, to address mental health concerns effectively.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions to empower parents and caregivers in creating a positive home environment conducive to healing.

• Collaborate with child psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to treatment.

• Deliver crisis intervention services and support during mental health emergencies affecting young clients.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment methodologies, and available community resources.

• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational guidelines.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case consults, and ongoing professional development initiatives.

• Engage in continuous learning to stay abreast of current research and best practices in child and adolescent mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary focus is on providing services to children and adolescents aged 5-18 who experience mental health issues such as anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, attention- deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and a range of behavioral challenges. As a Mental Health Counselor, you will foster trusting relationships with clients, creating a safe space for them to express their feelings and work through their challenges.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid clinical licensure as an LICSW, LMFT, or LMHC in Washington State.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a child-centered and empathetic approach to treatment.

• Ability to quickly build rapport with young clients and their families, promoting a trusting therapeutic alliance.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficiency in the use of standard computer applications.

• Commitment to professional ethics and continuous improvement.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting providing therapy to children and adolescents is preferred.

• Experience with evidence-based practices and therapeutic modalities specifically designed for child and adolescent populations will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
