Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify the needs and challenges faced by children and adolescents, developing a clear understanding of their developmental stage and family context.

• Create and implement individualized treatment plans that reflect evidence-based practices, systematically addressing the diverse mental health needs of each patient.

• Utilize therapeutic methodologies to deliver engaging sessions, providing individual therapy as well as family therapy aimed at fostering supportive home environments for our young clients.

• Collaborate with child psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to care, participating in regular case consultations and team meetings.

• Provide crisis intervention services during acute mental health emergencies, ensuring immediate support is available for affected children and their families.

• Educate young patients and their families about various mental health conditions and treatment options, offering practical resources and community referrals as needed.

• Maintain up-to-date and accurate documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards while embracing electronic health record systems for efficient record management.

• Engage in ongoing professional development activities to stay informed about advancements in child and adolescent mental health, contributing to an evolving practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Washington.

• A firm foundation in child and adolescent mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a child-centered approach.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring the meticulous management of patient documentation.
