Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Vatica Counseling Center, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough psychosocial assessments to understand client needs and inform treatment plans.

• Diagnosing and treating various mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders, tailoring care plans based on client progress and challenges.

• Providing individual and family therapy sessions via telehealth platforms, ensuring clients receive timely and effective care.

• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and external community resources to develop comprehensive discharge plans that ensure continuity of care for clients.

• Referring clients to additional services and support systems, including psychiatrists, community programs, and support groups to enhance their well-being.

• Managing crisis situations adeptly, offering immediate support and appropriate referrals to clients in distress.
\n
• Maintaining compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, as well as adhering to the standards of the Mental Health Practice Act.

• Providing education and support to clients and their families, acting as an advocate to facilitate communication with care teams and resources.

• Utilizing a case management app to document client interactions and manage caseload efficiently, minimizing administrative burdens.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse range of clients facing various mental health challenges. This encompasses children, adolescents, adults, and families, each requiring tailored approaches to meet their unique needs. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work or a related field from an accredited institution is required.

• Current licensure in New York State as an LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, or psychologist.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build strong rapport with clients.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth technology.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually. Additional benefits include:
