This full-time, fully remote position requires the ability to work effectively from our outpatient office while providing specialized mental health services to children and adolescents, as well as their families.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify the unique needs of each child or adolescent before developing tailored treatment plans that consider their developmental stage and the dynamics of their family.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions to treat various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions, encouraging caregivers to contribute to the emotional and psychological growth of their children.

• Collaborate closely with child psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to enhance the effectiveness of treatment plans and interventions.

• Provide immediate support and crisis intervention during urgent mental health emergencies, ensuring that our young patients are safe and supported.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions and treatment options while connecting them with community resources and support.

• Document all interactions and treatment progress accurately, adhering to legal and ethical standards for confidentiality.

• Engage in ongoing professional development and participate in team meetings to discuss case management and share insights related to best practices in child and adolescent psychiatry.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The focus of your work will be on children and adolescents grappling with a range of mental health disorders, helping them navigate the complexities of their emotions and experiences. You'll be actively addressing conditions such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LCSW in Florida.

• A strong foundation in child and adolescent mental health, with familiarity in evidence-based treatment approaches and methodologies.

• Proven experience providing therapeutic support to children and their families, incorporating a range of therapeutic modalities.

• Outstanding interpersonal skills, with a strong emphasis on empathy, patience, and the capacity to establish rapport with children and their families.

• Proficiency in EHR systems as well as relevant software applications.

• A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of relevant experience in a mental health counseling role, particularly focused on child and adolescent populations.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We are pleased to offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition, we provide a sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.
