Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility and the ability to provide care from the comfort of your location. Our outpatient office serves as a collaborative hub where mental health professionals come together to discuss cases, share insights, and enhance their skills. While the primary schedule runs Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, occasional evening shifts may be required based on patient needs, allowing us to accommodate families' schedules effectively.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for children and adolescents to identify their unique needs and challenges.

• Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans that consider developmental stages and family dynamics.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and play therapy, tailored to address various mental health concerns.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions to empower parents and caregivers, enabling them to foster a supportive and nurturing environment.

• Collaborate with our team of child psychiatrists and other multidisciplinary professionals to provide coordinated, holistic care for our patients.

• Provide crisis intervention services during mental health emergencies, ensuring swift and effective support for children and adolescents.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources to promote understanding and engagement.

• Document all interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with legal and ethical standards, maintaining confidentiality at all times.

• Participate in regular team meetings, case consultations, and professional development initiatives to enhance your skills and knowledge in child and adolescent psychiatry.

• Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in the field to incorporate new methodologies into your regular practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on children and adolescents facing a variety of mental health challenges. This may include working with young individuals diagnosed with anxiety disorders, depression, ADHD, and other behavioral disorders. You will develop close relationships with patients and their families, tailoring your approach to meet their specific needs and circumstances.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience preferred, showcasing your ability to manage diverse cases effectively.

• Strong knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and therapeutic approaches.

• Demonstrated experience in providing both individual and family therapy to young individuals.
\n
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate, child-centered approach.

• Skill in establishing rapport and fostering trust with children, adolescents, and their families, essential for effective therapy.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard computer applications.
\n
• Ability to work collaboratively as a valuable member of a multidisciplinary care team.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, reflective of your experience and qualifications.
