Work Environment\n

As a remote-based position within a community health clinic setting, you will have the flexibility to manage your schedule while providing teletherapy or virtual consultations to clients. Our normal work hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to accommodate patient needs. Our team remains connected through regular virtual meetings, enabling mentorship and continued collaboration on patient care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify the emotional and psychological needs of clients and develop individualized treatment plans.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, and families, employing diverse modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy.

• Lead psychoeducational and support groups focused on common mental health challenges, fostering a sense of community among participants.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other clinical staff to create a unified approach to patient care and treatment strategies.
\n
• Offer immediate crisis intervention services and ongoing support during mental health emergencies, demonstrating strong clinical decision-making skills.
\n
• Educate clients and families about mental health disorders, treatment options, and additional community resources, enhancing their understanding and engagement in care.

• Maintain comprehensive and confidential case documentation in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines, utilizing our electronic health record (EHR) systems for accurate record-keeping.

• Actively participate in case consultations and team meetings to share insights and contribute to the collective knowledge of the practice.

• Engage in continuous professional development to stay informed about best practices and advancements in mental health therapy.

In this role, you’ll work primarily with children and adolescents, alongside their families, addressing a variety of mental health issues in a holistic manner. Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a closely related field is required.

• A current and valid mental health license (LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, or Psychologist) in the state of California is essential for this position.

• An understanding of mental health disorders and proficiency in various treatment modalities.

• Demonstrated ability to conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and to develop effective, tailored treatment plans for clients.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills along with the capacity to manage professional boundaries.

• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems and the use of technology in delivering mental health services is critical.

• The ability to thrive in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience working with children and families in a clinical setting is an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
