Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health and psychosocial assessments, taking into account each patient’s medical history and current conditions to inform individualized treatment planning.

• Develop and implement robust, evidence-based treatment plans that strategically address both psychiatric and co-occurring medical conditions, ensuring that all aspects of the patient's health are considered.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, employing therapeutic techniques that are tailored to the unique needs and circumstances of each participant.

• Work in close coordination with a variety of healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and a holistic approach to patient care.

• Actively provide crisis intervention, offering support to patients during critical mental health emergencies.

• Educate patients about the relationship between physical and mental health, equipping them with tools and strategies to better manage their own care.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation of therapy sessions and patient progress, in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in ongoing professional development by staying current with research, best practices, and innovative strategies in integrated mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses on assisting a diverse patient population that includes individuals who are confronting a variety of mental health challenges alongside complex medical conditions. Our therapist will play a crucial role in guiding patients through their unique difficulties, fostering resilience and promoting optimal mental health outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Strong understanding and experience in providing mental health care to individuals with co-occurring medical conditions.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, facilitating effective interactions with patients and team members.

• Demonstrated ability to maintain professional boundaries while adhering to ethical practices and ensuring confidentiality.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms, enabling efficient documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience\n

In addition to the qualifications outlined above, candidates with direct experience treating individuals with substance abuse issues or chronic medical conditions will be especially well-suited for this position. Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 120,000 to 140,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, a sign-on bonus of $3,000 is available for new hires, recognizing the value and commitment you bring to our team.
