While you will have the autonomy to manage your schedule, please note that weekday shifts typically occur from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening hours to accommodate patient needs. Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on providing therapeutic services to children and adolescents grappling with a range of mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders. By utilizing evidence-based practices, you will support both the individual and their families in navigating the challenges of mental health, ensuring a holistic approach to care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate the needs of children and adolescents, developing a deep understanding of their personal and family contexts.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions in both individual and family therapy sessions to address mental health concerns.

• Collaborate closely with child psychiatrists and other professionals to coordinate care and optimize treatment strategies.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during mental health emergencies, utilizing your clinical skills to manage urgent situations effectively.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health diagnoses, treatment options, and available community resources, enhancing their understanding and participation in the recovery process.

• Maintain thorough, accurate, and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with health care policies.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California, confirming your eligibility to practice in this field.

• Strong familiarity with child and adolescent mental health disorders, including evidence-based therapeutic approaches.

• Experience in delivering individual and family therapy to youth, demonstrating your ability to engage with this demographic effectively.

• Excellent communication skills, coupled with a compassionate, child-centered approach that fosters rapport and trust with young patients and their families.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and other necessary technology to efficiently manage patient information and documentation.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of post-licensure experience working directly with children and adolescents in a clinical setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
