This full-time, remote position offers the opportunity to provide specialized mental health care to children and adolescents, along with their families, while working from the comfort of your own home or from our Hospice Center in Salina, Kansas. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate emotional and psychological needs of children and adolescents, utilizing various assessment tools and methods.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that account for individual developmental stages, family dynamics, and cultural background.
\n
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Play Therapy, to effectively address anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.
\n
• Facilitate family therapy sessions designed to educate and support parents and caregivers in developing positive communication and nurturing relationships.
\n
• Work closely with child psychiatrists and other professionals to ensure well-coordinated and integrated care for clients, attending regular team meetings and case consultations.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention and support for families facing urgent mental health situations, ensuring a calm and effective response.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about mental health issues, available resources, and self-care strategies, fostering empowerment and informed decision-making.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with HIPAA and ethical guidelines, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) software.

• Actively pursue professional development opportunities, staying current with advancements in child and adolescent mental health practices and research findings.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our practice primarily serves children and adolescents dealing with a spectrum of mental health issues, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, ADHD, and various behavioral disorders. You will work closely with clients facing unique challenges shaped by their family, school, and social environments, and contribute to their development and healing process by applying therapeutic techniques suitable for their age and circumstances.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A valid and current licensure as an LCMFT, LCSW, LCP, LCPC, or LSCSW in the state of Kansas.
\n
• Extensive knowledge of childhood and adolescent mental health disorders, along with established evidence-based treatment modalities and therapeutic approaches.
\n
• Demonstrated experience providing individual and family counseling in clinical settings.
\n
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, complemented by a compassionate, child-centered approach.
\n
• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other necessary technological tools.
\n
• A collaborative spirit and ability to work effectively as a part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience working directly with children and adolescents in a mental health setting.

• Experience in crisis intervention and the ability to handle high-stress situations with confidence and empathy.

• Familiarity with treatment programs and community resources available for families within the Salina area.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to USD 104,000, commensurate with experience.
