Work Environment\n

This role is fully remote, allowing you to provide care to patients from the comfort of your home while still feeling connected to a supportive team. Our telehealth facility is equipped with the latest technology and resources to ensure seamless communication and comprehensive care. We operate primarily Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts as needed to accommodate patient schedules.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to accurately evaluate the emotional and psychological needs of children and adolescents.

• Develop customized treatment plans that align with developmental stages and family dynamics, ensuring a holistic approach to care.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions—including cognitive-behavioral therapy, play therapy, and family therapy—to effectively address a diverse range of mental health concerns.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions to empower parents and caregivers in fostering nurturing environments for their children.

• Work collaboratively with child psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive and integrated care.

• Provide crisis intervention support during mental health emergencies, ensuring the safety and well-being of our young patients.

• Educate patients and families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources to promote informed decision-making.
\n
• Maintain meticulous documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards to ensure the privacy and integrity of patient information.

• Engage actively in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in child and adolescent mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will be dedicated to serving a diverse patient population, including children and adolescents facing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral issues. Your role will empower families by providing compassionate, individualized care and fostering open communication to build trust and rapport with each child and their caregivers.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.

• In-depth understanding of child and adolescent mental health disorders and therapeutic modalities.
\n
• Hands-on experience providing therapy to children and families, ideally with an emphasis on evidence-based practices.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a fundamental belief in a child-centered approach to therapy.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and a strong ability to navigate digital communication tools.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of experience in a mental health counseling role, specifically working with children and adolescents.

• Experience with telehealth services is strongly preferred, adapting clinical techniques to an online setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
