Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed mental health assessments for children and adolescents to determine their emotional and psychological needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses on providing mental health care to children and adolescents, addressing a spectrum of issues such as social-emotional difficulties, developmental disorders, and familial challenges. You will collaborate with skilled child psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver optimal care tailored to the developmental and emotional needs of each young client.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Valid and current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• Strong foundational knowledge of childhood and adolescent mental health disorders, including evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Demonstrated experience in providing both individual and family therapy services to children and adolescents.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy, active listening, and a child-centered approach.

• Ability to foster trust and build rapport with both children and their families.

• Competency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems to manage patient documentation efficiently.
