Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations to assess the individual needs and concerns of children and adolescents.

• Design and implement tailored treatment plans that reflect developmental considerations and family dynamics.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to guide young patients through various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Actively collaborate with child psychiatrists and other multidisciplinary team members to coordinate care and enhance treatment protocols.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support in situations involving mental health emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, available treatments, and community resources for further assistance.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical guidelines.

• Take part in regular team meetings, case consultations, and professional development initiatives to stay updated on best practices in child and adolescent mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on children and adolescents facing mental health challenges, alongside their families. Our clinic addresses a wide array of issues, from anxiety and depression to ADHD and behavioral disorders, with an emphasis on fostering resilience and coping skills among our young patients.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• Strong understanding of child and adolescent mental health disorders, including an array of treatment modalities and evidence-based approaches.

• Experience in delivering individual and family therapy specifically to children and adolescents.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills combined with a compassionate, child-focused approach.

Compensation and Benefits\n
