Vitality Therapy Centre is seeking a dedicated Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LMHC, LICSW) to join our specialized Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Team. This full-time position provides an exciting opportunity to work with young patients in a remote outpatient setting, contributing to their mental well-being and overall development.

Work Environment\n

As a remote-full time position, our Mental Health Therapist will engage with patients using secure telehealth platforms in an outpatient office environment. This adaptable work setting promotes a healthy work-life balance while ensuring that our therapists can focus on providing high-quality care to their patients. The regular work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, utilizing standardized tools to evaluate the needs, strengths, and challenges of children and adolescents.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with developmental stages, family dynamics, and specific mental health diagnoses.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), play therapy, and family therapy, tailored to meet the needs of each patient.

• Support families through therapy sessions designed to enhance communication, understanding, and coping strategies.
\n
• Collaborate with child psychiatrists and other professionals to provide coordinated and holistic care, ensuring patient treatment plans are effective and comprehensive.

• Respond to mental health crises by providing immediate assessment and intervention, ensuring patient safety and support.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about mental health issues, treatment modalities, and available community resources to promote awareness and support.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential electronic health records (EHR), adhering to HIPAA regulations and ethical standards.
\n
• Engage in regular team meetings for case consultation, share knowledge of current best practices, and contribute to the development of the mental health team.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role specifically focuses on children and adolescents facing a range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and other behavioral disorders. By collaborating closely with families, the therapist will help navigate their treatment journey and work on strategies that foster emotional resilience and healthy coping mechanisms.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW) in the state of Washington.

• Proven expertise in child and adolescent mental health disorders, combined with knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities and therapeutic techniques.

• Demonstrated experience providing individual and family therapy to young individuals from diverse backgrounds.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, possessing a compassionate, child-centered approach to therapy.

• Proficient in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiar with telehealth technologies.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health counseling role, preferably with a focus on children and adolescents.

Compensation and Benefits\n
