This full-time position offers the unique opportunity to work within a supportive outpatient setting while addressing the mental health needs of our young patients and their families through remote services from Long Beach, California.

The core hours of operation are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts as necessary to accommodate patient schedules. Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform thorough mental health assessments to identify the unique needs and challenges facing each child or adolescent.

• Design and implement tailored treatment plans, considering individual developmental stages, family dynamics, and cultural backgrounds.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions to effectively address a broad spectrum of mental health issues, including structured sessions for family therapy aimed at fostering a supportive home environment.

• Collaborate closely with child psychiatrists and other interdisciplinary team members to promote coordinated care, ensuring that all aspects of the patient's well-being are addressed.

• Provide crisis intervention when necessary, responding swiftly to mental health emergencies involving children and teenagers.

• Educate both patients and their families about mental health disorders, treatment methodologies, and available community resources, empowering them with knowledge and support.

• Maintain diligent, accurate, and confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines while utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.

• Engage actively in team meetings, case discussions, and ongoing professional development opportunities.

• Stay abreast of advancements in child and adolescent psychiatry to continually enrich the therapeutic approaches employed.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.
\n
• Demonstrated knowledge of child and adolescent mental health assessments and therapeutic approaches.
\n
• Proven experience providing therapeutic care to children and adolescents, including individual and family therapy.

• Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to establish rapport with children, adolescents, and their families while maintaining a compassionate and child-centered approach.

• Proficient with EHR systems and technology applications relevant to mental health care.
\n
• Capable of collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team framework.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience specifically working with children and adolescents in a therapeutic setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This role offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 105,000 annually, complemented by a performance-based bonus structure.
