This full-time remote position is focused on providing high-quality mental health support to children and adolescents. As a vital member of our multidisciplinary team, you will collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to deliver tailored therapeutic interventions that enhance the well-being of our younger clients and their families.

Work Environment\n

This role offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing you to provide therapy sessions from the comfort of your home or another chosen setting. As part of our outpatient team, your primary schedule will be Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts required based on patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to understand the unique needs of children and adolescents seeking care.
\n
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans that address the specific challenges faced by each young client, ensuring alignment with their developmental stages and family circumstances.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including play therapy and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), tailored to address a range of issues from anxiety and depression to behavioral challenges.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions designed to enhance communication and create a cohesive support system for the child.
\n
• Collaborate across disciplines with child psychiatrists and other clinicians to deliver comprehensive and coordinated care, especially during case consultations.
\n
• Respond to mental health emergencies involving children and adolescents, employing crisis intervention techniques as necessary.
\n
• Educate families on mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources, empowering them to take an active role in their child’s healing process.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards of practice.

• Actively engage in professional development, staying informed on current best practices in child and adolescent mental health through seminars and workshops.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on children and adolescents between the ages of 5 and 18, alongside their families. Understanding the complexities of child development and the nuances of family dynamics will be essential in devising effective treatment plans. Your ability to connect with this young demographic will make a significant impact on their therapeutic journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.

• In-depth knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders and evidenced-based therapeutic modalities.
\n
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems to document patient interactions and treatment progress.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a child-centered and compassionate approach.
\n
• Ability to build rapport quickly and effectively with young clients and their families to foster trust and engagement.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of experience providing individual and family therapy specifically to children and adolescents.

• Experience in crisis intervention and a demonstrated ability to manage challenging behaviors in therapeutic settings.

• Familiarity with community resources and referral systems targeting youth mental health.
\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
