This position offers a fully remote working environment, allowing you to balance your professional responsibilities with personal commitments. Utilizing telehealth technology, you will engage with patients through virtual platforms, ensuring that care is accessible and convenient. Our operational hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts based on patient needs, providing flexibility in your work schedule.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for children and adolescents, establishing a foundation for individualized treatment plans.

• Develop tailored treatment plans that consider developmental milestones, family dynamics, and specific mental health needs.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities to deliver individual and group therapy sessions, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions, empowering parents and caregivers with tools and strategies to foster a supportive home environment.

• Provide crisis intervention and stabilization support in emergency situations, ensuring immediate assistance for youth in distress.

• Continuously collaborate with child psychiatrists and interdisciplinary professionals to ensure a holistic approach to each patient’s care.

• Educate families about mental health issues, introducing them to community resources and support systems.
\n
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation to comply with ethical and legal standards, ensuring confidentiality and quality of care.

• Participate in team meetings and training sessions, contributing to the ongoing improvement of our mental health services.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary clientele for this position consists of children and adolescents suffering from a spectrum of mental health disorders. Our clients range from those confronting mild anxiety to severe mood disorders, including but not limited to ADHD, depression, and conduct issues. You will engage closely with young individuals and their families, shaping impactful, therapeutic relationships that drive recovery and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Minimum of two years of experience post-licensure in mental health counseling is preferred.

• Solid understanding of child and adolescent psychological development, mental health disorders, and therapeutic methodologies.

• Experience in providing individual and family therapy to youth populations.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a child-centered and empathetic approach.

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and other technology platforms relevant to virtual patient care.

• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and collaborate across various specialties.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, offering between USD 115,000 and 130,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
