Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to identify the specific needs of each child or adolescent.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans, taking into account the developmental stages and unique family dynamics of your clients.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, to address conditions such as anxiety, depression, attention- deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and various behavioral disorders.

• Provide crisis intervention support during mental health emergencies, ensuring the safety and well-being of young individuals in distress.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about mental health issues, potential treatment options, and available community resources to support ongoing well-being.
\n
• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation of patient interactions and treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and opportunities for professional development to ensure you remain informed of best practices and new advancements in child psychiatry.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.
\n
• Demonstrated knowledge and competence in addressing child and adolescent mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment methodologies.
\n
• Prior experience providing individual and family therapy, with a preference for candidates who have worked with children and adolescents in an outpatient setting.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to connect with children, adolescents, and their families in a genuine, compassionate manner.
\n
• Strong organizational skills and proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and related computer applications.
\n
• A collaborative mindset with an eagerness to work as part of a multidisciplinary team focused on delivering holistic care.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of relevant experience in the mental health field is required, additional experience working in outpatient settings tailored to child and adolescent care would be highly advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, complemented by a sign-on bonus upon joining our team.
