The Royal Psychological Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate full-time Child and Adolescent Mental Health Therapist to join our dynamic team. This remote position will allow you to support the mental well-being of children and adolescents while working from the comfort of your home. As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will conduct comprehensive assessments and provide therapeutic interventions tailored to meet the diverse needs of our young clients.

This position is entirely remote, leveraging our advanced telehealth platform that facilitates efficient and effective therapy sessions. Our team of experienced child psychiatrists and mental health professionals fosters a collaborative and supportive atmosphere, ensuring that you have access to resources and guidance while working from home. We believe in a flexible work schedule that prioritizes the needs of our therapists, with a standard work week of Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, along with occasional evening shifts based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed mental health assessments to identify the needs and concerns of children and adolescents.

• Create and implement individualized treatment plans that consider developmental stages and family dynamics.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions designed to empower parents and caregivers in nurturing supportive environments for their children.

• Collaborate with child psychiatrists and other professionals to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.

• Provide crisis intervention services for children and adolescents during mental health emergencies, ensuring timely and appropriate support.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources available for further assistance.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in alignment with HIPAA guidelines and ethical standards.

• Engage actively in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development activities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

• Stay updated on current research and best practices in child and adolescent psychiatry to provide the highest quality of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily serve children and adolescents, typically from ages 5 to 18, who are experiencing a range of emotional and behavioral challenges. You will work closely with families to address and alleviate the impacts of anxiety, depression, ADHD, and various behavioral disorders, ultimately helping to cultivate a supportive environment for our young clients as they navigate their mental health journeys.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, demonstrating a solid therapeutic foundation.

• Strong understanding of child and adolescent mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and therapeutic practices.

• Proficiency in delivering individual and family therapy within a pediatric context.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills that resonate with children, adolescents, and their families.

• A demonstrated ability to build rapport and foster trust with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications.

• Capacity to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team focused on child wellness.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The Royal Psychological Wellness Center offers a competitive salary range of USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
