The work environment at Core Mind is predominantly remote, allowing for flexibility and a balanced work-life schedule. Our clinic operates Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with the possibility of occasional evening shifts based on patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for children and adolescents to identify their unique needs and challenges.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic modalities, considering developmental factors and family dynamics.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that support young patients in managing their mental health concerns.
\n
• Provide family therapy sessions to equip parents and caregivers with strategies to foster a nurturing environment conducive to healing and growth.

• Collaborate closely with child psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure that care is coordinated and comprehensive.

• Intervene in crisis situations, providing immediate support and resources to children and adolescents experiencing mental health emergencies.

• Educate patients and caregivers about mental health conditions, available treatment options, and local community resources that may aid their journey.

• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment plans in compliance with state regulations and ethical standards.

• Participate in regular team meetings and case consultations to refine treatment approaches and enhance care delivery.

• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in child and adolescent psychiatry to continually evolve your practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on children and adolescents ranging from ages 5 to 18, many of whom face significant challenges such as anxiety, depression, behavioral disorders, and attention issues. You will have the opportunity to support this vulnerable demographic and their families, playing a vital role in their developmental progress and emotional resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist in California.
\n
• At least two years of clinical experience post-licensure in mental health counseling, particularly with child and adolescent populations is preferred.
\n
• Strong familiarity with various child and adolescent mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, enabling you to connect with children, adolescents, and their families effectively.
\n
• Competence with electronic health record (EHR) systems to document patient care and maintain confidentiality.
\n
• A collaborative spirit and ability to work harmoniously within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n
