Key Responsibilities\n

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to determine individual client needs.

• Monitor treatment outcomes closely as an integral member of the clinical team, contributing to continual improvement efforts.

• Provide support and guidance to families, particularly those seeking to enhance their child’s mental health.
\n
• Establish rapport with children and their families to create a trusting and healthy therapeutic environment.

• Collaboratively develop treatment plans with families, employing evidence-based practices while adhering to Natural Learning Environment Practices.
\n
• Educate families on techniques and strategies to support their child's developmental journey.
\n
• Utilize coaching methods and natural environment teaching techniques to maximize client engagement and learning.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with a diverse population of clients, including children, adolescents, and adults. This role requires sensitivity to the unique health needs and cultural backgrounds of our clients, ensuring that treatment is both personalized and effective. Your ability to adapt interventions to fit the individual and family dynamics will be crucial in promoting long-lasting recovery and well-being.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
\n
• Current licensure as either an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.
\n
• A minimum of two years of relevant professional experience in mental health counseling.
\n
• Current Associate or Licensed status with the Board of Behavioral Sciences, or in progress.
\n
• Exceptional organizational skills to effectively manage documentation and billing processes.
\n
• Strong self-motivation with the capability to take initiative and manage time efficiently in a remote work setup.

Preferred Experience\n

While the above qualifications are required, additional experience in specific therapeutic modalities such as trauma-informed care, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), or family systems therapy would be advantageous. Familiarity with electronic health record systems and previous experience in outpatient settings are also preferred.
