Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform comprehensive mental health assessments for children and adolescents to identify their needs and establish therapeutic goals.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that consider the unique developmental stages of each child or adolescent, as well as family dynamics.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and play therapy, to address a variety of mental health disorders.

• Conduct family therapy sessions to assist parents and caregivers in creating a nurturing and supportive environment for their child.

• Work collaboratively with child psychiatrists, psychologists, and other health professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to mental health care.

• Provide crisis intervention services during mental health emergencies, ensuring immediate support is available for clients.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment pathways, and community resources available to support recovery.
\n
• Document all interactions and treatment sessions accurately and confidentially, adhering to legal and ethical standards.

• Participate actively in clinical team meetings, case consultations, and professional development activities, sharing insights and best practices.

• Stay updated on current research and advancements in the field of child and adolescent psychiatry to continuously improve care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily serve children and adolescents facing mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, behavioral disorders, and other emotional issues. Your interventions will play a vital role in alleviating suffering and promoting mental wellness in this vulnerable population, making a significant difference in their lives and families.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Arizona.

• Extensive knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders and effective treatment modalities.

• Demonstrated experience in providing individual and family therapy to young patients.

• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, emphasized by a compassionate approach to therapy.

Preferred Experience\n

Ideal candidates will have at least two years of experience working directly with children and adolescents in a clinical setting. Familiarity with evidence-based treatments, crisis intervention strategies, and family systems theory is advantageous. Previous experience working collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team is also preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to USD 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
