Work Environment\n

This position offers a remote work setting that allows you to connect with clients in a flexible manner while working from the comfort of your home. You will coordinate closely with a dedicated team of child psychiatrists and healthcare professionals, ensuring a cohesive approach to patient care. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts as needed to accommodate patient requirements.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to analyze the needs and challenges faced by children and adolescents.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's developmental stage and family dynamics.

• Utilize evidence-based therapies, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to address a range of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, and behavioral disorders.

• Facilitate engaging family therapy sessions designed to empower caregivers and create nurturing home environments.
\n
• Coordinate with child psychiatrists and other providers to deliver comprehensive and integrated care tailored to the unique needs of each young client.

• Respond effectively to mental health crises, providing immediate support and intervention for children and adolescents in distress.
\n
• Educate patients and families about mental health disorders, treatment options, and community resources available to support their wellbeing.
\n
• Maintain comprehensive and confidential documentation of patient progress in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in team meetings, case discussions, and professional development activities to enhance skills and share knowledge with colleagues.

• Stay abreast of current research and advancements in child and adolescent mental health to inform therapeutic practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position focuses on providing mental health support to children and adolescents facing various psychological challenges, including anxiety disorders, depression, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and other behavioral issues. By working closely with young patients and their families, you will help them navigate the complexities of mental health, building resilience and promoting lasting positive outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure in the state of Texas as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT is mandatory.

• Alignment with evidence-based practice is essential, with a strong understanding of various therapeutic modalities.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy and a child-centered approach to care.

• The ability to establish rapport with children, adolescents, and their families while fostering a trusting therapeutic relationship.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficiency with relevant computer applications.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, especially in a clinical setting working with children and adolescents.

Compensation and Benefits\n
