Work Environment\n

This position is entirely remote, leveraging the power of telehealth to reach clients across the San Antonio, Texas area. Our telehealth platform allows for flexible scheduling, primarily during standard business hours from Monday to Friday, between 9 AM and 4 PM. Given the nature of our work, we require punctuality, professionalism, and adaptability to meet the specific needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments of clients, employing evidence-based practices to develop tailored treatment plans that address individual needs.

• Utilize various therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to implement meaningful interventions and foster progress in clients.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in accordance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring compliance and ethical standards are met.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary treatment team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals, to coordinate care effectively.

• Participate in regular case consultations and clinical peer review meetings to improve treatment strategies and outcomes.

• Educate clients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment methodologies, and available community resources, fostering a holistic approach to wellness.

• Stay abreast of the latest research developments in mental health therapy to continuously enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Bend Psychosocial Counseling Center, you will work with a diverse range of clients facing various mental health challenges. This includes children, adolescents, and adults seeking relief from anxiety disorders, mood disorders, and trauma-related issues. You will play a pivotal role in addressing their unique psychological needs and facilitating their journey to recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A graduate degree (Master's or Doctoral) in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• An active license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Texas.

• Proficient knowledge and application of solution-focused psychotherapy techniques to effectively customize treatment approaches for individuals.
