Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the psychosocial needs of patients, determining personalized treatment plans and necessary referrals for additional services.

• Provide short-term counseling and crisis intervention, effectively managing high-stress situations with empathy and professionalism.

• Assist patients in navigating complex systems to obtain benefits, completing essential forms for entitlements and insurance that foster independence from emergency assistance programs.

• Facilitate access to prescription cost assistance through pharmaceutical company programs and local community resources.
\n
• Advocate for patients by liaising with community agencies to ensure they receive the full spectrum of available support services.
\n
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records compliant with HIPAA regulations, preparing necessary reports and documentation as required.

• Coordinate transportation assistance for patients as needed to ensure access to critical services.
\n
• Participate actively in clinical and team meetings to discuss ongoing cases, contributing valuable insights and learning from collaborative discussions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses on serving a diverse array of patients from various backgrounds, including underserved populations who may face barriers in accessing mental health care. The therapist will work with individuals experiencing a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjustment disorders, ensuring tailored interventions that respect each patient's cultural and social context.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Counseling is required.

• A valid and active independent license in California as either a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) must be held.

• Applicants must possess a minimum of two (2) years of relevant professional experience in a mental health counseling role.

Preferred Experience\n

While two years of clinical experience is the minimum requirement, candidates with experience in community mental health settings, crisis intervention, and familiarity with telehealth practices will be highly regarded. Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, offering between USD 120,000 and 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
