Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform in-depth mental health assessments for children and adolescents, identifying their specific emotional and psychological needs.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic modalities, ensuring each plan is tailored to the patient's unique circumstances.

• Conduct therapy sessions, including individual counseling and family therapy, focusing on developing coping strategies and improving communication within families.
\n
• Play an active role in crisis intervention, providing immediate support for patients in mental health emergencies.
\n
• Maintain accurate, secure, and confidential documentation in accordance with all legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Engage in regular collaboration with child psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and track patient progress.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions and available community resources to empower them in their treatment journey.

• Participate in ongoing professional development, staying current with research and trends in child and adolescent psychiatry.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with children and adolescents facing mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders. Your focus will be on understanding the nuances of these challenges, informed by the latest research and clinical best practices, to ensure that your therapeutic approaches are both effective and compassionate.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
\n
• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist in California.
\n
• Proven ability to establish rapport with children and adolescents, demonstrating a child-centered and empathetic approach to therapy.
\n
• Strong knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders, therapeutic modalities, and relevant interventions.
\n
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, aiding in effective interactions with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
\n
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems to ensure streamlined documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, with a focus on working in mental health settings for children and adolescents.

• Demonstrated experience in individual and family therapy, showcasing success stories in therapeutic outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000, in addition to a comprehensive healthcare benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision coverage.
