Comprehensive Medical, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our child and adolescent psychiatry team in Mesa, Arizona. Work Environment\n

This role is primarily performed in a remote setting from our outpatient office in Mesa, AZ. While you will have the flexibility of remote work, you will also collaborate with team members through virtual meetings and occasional in-person consultations to ensure comprehensive care. Our regular work hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts as needed based on patient requirements.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth mental health assessments to identify the psychological needs and challenges faced by children and adolescents, resulting in tailored treatment plans.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans focused on developmental appropriateness and family dynamics, integrating therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) or play therapy.

• Provide individual and family therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices to effectively address anxiety, depression, ADHD, behavioral disorders, and other mental health concerns.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions aimed at improving parental engagement and creating nurturing home environments for our young patients.
\n
• Collaborate with our team of child psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure cohesive and comprehensive treatment strategies.
\n
• Offer crisis intervention and immediate support during mental health emergencies, effectively managing acute situations to ensure patient safety.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about mental health challenges, available treatment options, and community resources that enhance support systems.
\n
• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation of patient interactions and treatment outcomes, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development training sessions to share knowledge and enhance team collaboration.

• Stay abreast of the latest research, best practices, and advancements in children’s mental health to inform treatment approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will directly impact the lives of children and adolescents grappling with a range of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Arizona.
\n
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a related field, preferably with children and adolescents.
\n
• Strong knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate, child-centered approach in interactions.
\n
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems, enabling effective patient management and documentation.
\n
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, fostering a culture of support and shared objectives.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with specialized training in child-focused therapy techniques, previous experience in a remote therapeutic setting, and familiarity with crisis intervention strategies will be preferred. Experience engaging with families, especially in regards to mental health education and advocacy, will also enhance your candidacy.

Compensation and Benefits\n
