Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify the mental health needs of students and formulate individualized treatment plans that cater specifically to their circumstances.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic services in individual, group, and family settings, utilizing various methodologies including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Collaborate effectively with case managers, psychiatrists, educators, and other healthcare providers to ensure a holistic approach to each client's care.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support for students experiencing acute psychological distress or emergencies, employing your clinical expertise to guide them through challenging situations.

• Engage actively in community outreach initiatives aimed at reducing stigma surrounding mental health issues and promoting overall mental well-being among students and their families.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The core focus of your role will be working with a diverse client population including children, adolescents, and their families within the school setting. You will be equipped to address a variety of mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and trauma, ensuring our services meet the unique cultural and linguistic needs of the community.

Qualifications\n

• Must hold an active and independent license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) .

• A completed master's degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Clinical Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field is required.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills are essential, enabling you to establish rapport and build therapeutic relationships with a wide range of clients.
