Work Environment\n

This position allows for a flexible work environment as it is conducted entirely through telehealth. You will have the benefit of working from home while engaging with clients via secure and encrypted virtual platforms. Our dedicated telehealth system supports effective communication and collaboration with team members and clients alike. The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts based on the needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to accurately evaluate the needs and concerns of children and adolescents.

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique developmental context, psychological needs, and family dynamics.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, play therapy, and family therapy, to address a variety of mental health challenges.

• Engage actively with parents and caregivers through family therapy sessions, equipping them with strategies to foster a supportive home environment.
\n
• Collaborate closely with child psychiatrists, educational professionals, and multidisciplinary team members to ensure integrated care and positive treatment outcomes.

• Offer crisis intervention and immediate support during mental health emergencies involving children and adolescents.
\n
• Educate clients and families about mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources to promote informed decision-making.
\n
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in adherence to legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for record-keeping.

• Participate in team meetings, case discussions, and continuous professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and stay updated on best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is on children and adolescents presenting a wide array of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders. You will work closely with clients aged 6-18 and their families, addressing both individual and systemic factors impacting their mental health. This focused approach enables us to create tailored interventions that promote holistic well-being in the young population.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Arizona.

• Extensive knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Demonstrated experience in delivering individual and family therapy with a focus on younger populations.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, fostering a compassionate, child-centered therapeutic approach.

• Capability to build rapport with children, adolescents, and their families effectively.
\n
• Proficiency in EHR systems and related computer applications critical for maintaining client records.

• Strong collaborative skills to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience working with children and adolescents in a mental health setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $105,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
