Work Environment\n

This role is primarily remote, allowing for flexible work arrangements while maintaining a significant impact on the community we serve. You will engage with our team of experienced child psychiatrists and therapists, providing a collaborative and supportive work environment that values your contributions. Your work hours will generally be Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts based on patient needs. This flexibility enables you to cater to the unique demands of our client families.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to accurately evaluate the emotional and psychological needs of children and adolescents.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that are responsive to each patient's developmental stages and specific family dynamics.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), play therapy, and family therapy, to address issues such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions, equipping parents and caregivers with tools to create nurturing home environments that support their child's mental health.

• Collaborate with child psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure the continuity and integration of care, maximizing the therapeutic impact for patients.

• Respond to mental health crises involving children and adolescents, offering immediate support and intervention as needed.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources to empower informed decision-making.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with federal and state regulations and ethical standards.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development sessions to enhance treatment effectiveness.

• Stay current with the latest research, best practices, and advancements in child and adolescent mental health to provide the best care possible.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on children and adolescents facing a variety of mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and other behavioral disorders. By understanding the unique complexities of this age group, you will play an integral role in fostering emotional resilience and mental wellness in young individuals, directly contributing to their personal and academic success.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid professional licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist in California is essential.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience providing individual and family therapy is preferred.

• Strong expertise in child and adolescent mental health disorders and proven experience with evidence-based therapeutic modalities.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating a compassionate and child-focused approach to therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n
