Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual therapy sessions with clients via video conferencing tools, ensuring to create a safe and supportive environment.

• Assess clients' mental health needs and collaborate with them to develop individualized treatment plans that reflect their goals and challenges.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) or dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to effectively address clients' concerns.

• Provide ongoing support, practical coping strategies, and education to enhance clients' understanding of their mental health conditions and treatment options.

• Document and maintain accurate, confidential electronic health records of client progress and treatment interventions using our secure health information system

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care, participate in team meetings, and contribute to the overall wellbeing of clients.

• Engage in continuous professional development by staying updated on the latest research, techniques, and best practices in mental health therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working with a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, adults, and families. Our community health clinic focuses on clients experiencing a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and other co-occurring disorders. Your role will be crucial in delivering person-centered care that respects the uniqueness of each client.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure in California as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
\n
• Minimum of three (3) years of professional experience in mental health counseling, with a focus on therapy for individuals of all ages.
\n
• Demonstrated understanding of child, adolescent, and adult development, as well as co-occurring mental health disorders and crisis intervention strategies.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience providing remote counseling services and maintaining successful therapeutic relationships in a virtual setting.

• Familiarity with evidence-based practices related to mental health treatment.
\n
• Experience working with a broad spectrum of cultural backgrounds and a commitment to fostering an inclusive environment.

• Additional certifications such as DBT, CCTP, Military and Trauma Certification, or LSATP are preferred but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits\n
